Wonderful experience both times we made a purchase. Any concerns we had were handled immediately. They corrected the few small issues in less than 24 hours, with a house call no less! It would be great if everyone offered this kind of customer service.

I ordered furniture 6/15/21. The delivery date on the receipts says 24 weeks; however the sales person told me I should have it in October. I am one week shy of it being eight months since I made my purchase and I have no idea when I'll get furniture. Every time I call I get a long song and dance about Covid, the lag at the port, and how other furniture store are having a problem.

All I want to know is WHEN will I get furniture. Sunny was an awesome sales person. That said, the inability to get answers or updates on the status is the cause for a FAILING grade.

I've been working with Ed Barden senior trying to decide on my new living room furniture, and he's made it a wonderful and fun experience. I'm very particular, so deciding on a combination of pieces and the fabric choices has been tough. But Ed has been very patient and helpful. Their furniture lines are very good quality, at what I feel are affordable prices. This is a family-owned business, and the Bardens just seem like good people!

As always, staff is very knowledgeable and helpful without being overbearing. We just bought our 3rd sofa from them. Been dealing with them for more than 20 years and have always been extremely satisfied.

The most wonderful customer service. I, myself am a very high maintenance client. Ed and Ed have done everything they can to accommodate me and make me happy. I will refer and recommend all my clients, friends, family and loved ones to this store. These wonderful people truly care about making their customers happy. My couch is absolutely beautiful! I am so happy with how comfortable it feels with such a sophisticated look. Do not look any further for your dream furniture. It is here at Sofa Design. Absolutely the best!

We just got our gorgeous, custom-made sectional couch from Sofa Design in Midlothian. We are so impressed with the quality of the couch. We got the special "kid proof" water-resistant fabric and it is so soft and comfy. Ed was so hospitable and helpful to us in the store. It felt so good to support an integrous family business. We are very pleased. We will still be sitting on this couch in 30 years. Definitely worth the investment.

Searching for the perfect sofa for our den was a very frustrating experience for my wife and me.until we visited Ed Barden and son at Sofa Design. They are professional, knowledgeable, extremely helpful, and offered a virtually unlimited selection of styles and fabrics. Needless to say, we love our new sofa. Thanks, Ed.

I almost never write reviews but the experience was so solid all around I thought I'd share. Went to this store after going to a dozen of the Ashley home furniture and Havertys types of stores. The sale pitches at those places were aggresive and the couches were all around $100-$1400 for the same thing over and over. Went here last, and for the first time was able to really talk through what I needed.

I must have looked at 30 different color options and sat on every couch in the store. Great customer service, zero BS. Couch came in early and was delivered without any problems, and I love it! I paid twice what I would have at Havertys, but got a beautiful couch that will last a long time, instead of having to shop again next year. Thanks Ed, happy new year

We found Sofa Design by looking up distributors for England Furniture. My wife stopped by and was immediately helped by the Ed Barden team. Father and son. She found exactly what we were looking for and was made comfortable and satisfied with our selection. When I got to town we went again to fine tune our list. I found Mr. Ed Barden very knowledgeable and helpful in our selecting colors and styles of furniture. He gave us prices and delivery dates that worked for us. A wonderful store and owners and we will use them again and always in our furniture needs!

Stopped in today after several weeks of looking at other 'big name' stores. Don't waste your time at other places -- you can spend the exact same amount of money here and get far better quality (and American made!) My fiancee worked in the furniture business some years ago in NC, and he and the owner chatted for a while. it's clear this family owned business knows their stuff.

They sell really well known and high quality brands, and have a great selection with tons of options. I loved their fabric choices, and we're looking for leather, and they sell high quality leather items. We didn't purchase a sofa yet, but we did pick up a gorgeous side table that was on clearance. We will definitely be back when it's time to buy.
