Our firm was set up in 1984 with the philosophy to build exceptionally crafted furniture and cabinetry that would stand the test of time in construction and relevance of design.

Half Crown Design is the new name for William Henry Furniture that has been on Huron Avenue in Cambridge for many years. We arranged to have four large bookshelves and a stereo cabinet constructed in natural hardwood in two different styles. We received detailed plans before the pieces were constructed. They were completed as promised -- actually a bit before the date that was planned.
We were very pleased with the results -- excellent construction and nicely finished. The come with nearly invisible leveling feet, which was much appreciated given the wonky floors and walls in our house. The work was not inexpensive, but the price was quite fair given the quality of the furniture.
