My neighbor and I ran out to look for a one of a kind lighting for my living room - to be in a snow storm. I had never been into the Persiano store. I was amazed at the lighting options, furniture, etc. I also ran into the RIO location. I fell in love there also. I purchased a star chandelier that is perfect for the living room and makes all the difference in the overall final and now finished product. All the staff are helpful and attentive and John is the crowning jewel. I highly recommend a visit to their stores.

Nice assortment of lighting at a broad range of prices. In addition to the store front there is another space in the back w other lighting, furniture and accessories. Found what I needed/wanted elsewhere at a lower price point.

I love Persiano Gallery because they have a great selection of rugs, lighting and furniture. If you're going to the Rockville Pike location, don't be fooled by the size of the store when you pull in the parking lot. There are several other showrooms on the same site and the owner, John, will take the time to show you everything you want to see.

We bought two rugs there that have changed the whole look of our living and dining rooms. John's sense of design is great and his ideas were super helpful as we considered different options. Highly recommend.

Persiano Gallery has an excellent selection of rugs, furniture and lighting. I recently bought two rugs there. John, the owner, was extremely helpful and spent a lot of time helping me to explore different rugs and furniture. He brought 5 rugs that I liked to my house so that I could look at them in the space where they'd be going and I could look at them with different lighting.

This really helped me because I needed to feel sure before making my purchases. I would highly recommend Persiano Gallery and expect to shop there in the future for other furniture and lighting.

Persiano has a terrific and reasonably prices selection of excellent Persian and Afghan carpets. If your looking for beautiful pieces for your floor, this is the place for you. John, the owner, is very knowledgeable and helpful. Keep in mind this is a family-owned store and not a chain, so its more informal in that regard. Happy carpet hunting!

WE have dealt with John for over 10 years all I can say he is remarkable and a breath of fresh air to deal with he goes above and beyond anyone or business I have ever dealt with. Our last purchase was in January I called him and he sent us pictures of furniture and he delivered the furniture to Charleston. We are so happy we have met him he is like Family! I highly recommend Persiano Gallery and John. He is truly a professional and becomes friends with everyone.

Persiano has an excellent selection of furniture, but what stands out is the service. John, the owner is a gentleman in every sense and the follow-up is great. I never felt pressured and it was nice to see how dedicated the staff was to making me happy.

Can't speak to quality of furniture- only the service-- which I could not get any. Walked in and he was on the phone the whole time talking about personal matters. Store was cluttered and could not get the price of a piece I liked. Left Disappointed.

Building a new home is very stressful on its own and furnishing it does not make it any better. Persiano Gallery was my last stop after visiting over 20 furniture stores in the DC metro area. I felt like at home as soon as I walked in to the store. I immediately fell in love with a few pieces. My husband and I were looking for unique pieces that could fit our modern contemporary interior design ideas that we had for our home and Persiano Gallery met our expectations above and beyond. Laura and John helped us pick the most exquisite pieces.

We walked in thinking we would start off with furnishing our living room and walked out with furnishing our entire home. Laura and John thank you for an incredible customer service and experience.

Working with Jon has been a true pleasure. I never realized what a difference having a skilled designer could make while helping us decorate our new home. Literally, we loved almost everything Jon showed us (rugs, couches, chairs, a desk - and more). He came to our home to view the rooms in which we needed to furnish, and also gained an idea of our tastes.

He did this without charge and we never - NEVER - felt any pressure whatsoever. It was more like we were shopping with a friend. The selection at the 3 locations is amazing - full of items you won't see at the "big box" furniture stores. In all - I'm so glad we stopped by and met Jon that day, totally by chance. I can highly recommend Jon and his crew at Persiano Gallery. Best of the best!

I needed furniture for my family room and was Feeling overwhelmed by the options, I decided to go back to John at Persiano Gallery who already designed my dining and leaving rooms furniture. He designed floor plan options by showing how the furniture would fit within the spacial dimensions of the rooms. He selected outstanding options, based upon my preferred style, that were appropriately sized to the rooms withan affordable price.

The furniture he selected looks amazing in my home, and I could not have accomplished this without his talented taste. I had a plan to surprise my husband and whole family and he helped me to achieve it. When my husband walked to the family room he said " Wow! What did you do this room? Is this the same room? Did you paint walls or chang the floor?

Why room looks so larger than before?" I highly recommend anyone in need of furniture, rugs, lights, and many more to contact him. He is a great designer who is easy to work with, has special skill for interior design, outstanding attention to detail, and can keep the design of any rooms and budgets. A little bit pricey, but you know you have the best and unique stuff. Thanks John

Can someone help us? We had a contract with them for purchase and installation of custom Master Bedroom closets back on 06/04/2016. The job was for $48,000. We made a deposit of $16,000. The job was supposed to be done in 4-5 months (by 11/04/2016). We made an inquiry on 11/23. No response. We made another inquiry on 12/02. The owner, John Hashempour replied: "Late december early January." Nothing by 01/12/17.

We made inquiries on 01/12 and 01/16. No response. Yet another inquiry on 01/20. He said he would get back to us. He didn't. Another inquiry on 01/22, and now he said he couldn't do the job and the order was never placed with the factory (so he lied to us all along on top of breaching his contract). He said he would refund the money. Now, almost five months later (and one year since we placed the order and paid), he just told us today he would refund us by 06/22.

I believe everyone would agree we have been more than patient and reasonable up to now. How can he simply not perform the work promised and not give back the money he took? What can we do and who can we tell in order to get the money back? We are extremely worried that he files bankruptcy before 06/22. We would 100% stay away from this place. I have written proof of everything I have described. Can someone please help us? Thank you.

Through the years we've gone to Persianno for lighting, furniture and accent pieces for our home in Gaithersburg and our vacation home in Virginia. The high quality, reasonable pricing and quick delivery (and installation when we purchase lighting) is why we have been customers for 15 years. Johnny has a good eye and is helpful with design as well.

Purchased a floor model chess table, but when brought home (under light) discovered a big dent in the middle of the table (not just a scratch, but a dent). The table needs wood restoration work in order to be used as a chess table. In the store, this dent was covered up by a center piece/vase on top of it. It also looked as if someone tried to cover it up with a brown marker.

The dent/damage was never disclosed to us at the time of purchase. When I contacted John requesting to exchange this table, he replied stating that another table cannot be ordered, and that this was the last one available; therefore, they will not re-order it. At that point, I requested that Perisano Gallery refunds us $100 back - the cost of the dent repair.

It has been over a week since my 2 emails to them, and no one had replied back to me. I am deeply dissatisfied with the fact that the damage was not disclosed at the time of purchase, moreover, it was intentionally concealed from us. Any requests to fic the situation, were rejected by Persiano Gallery. Beware when byuing items from this store! Make sure that you check everything thoroughly, because once you pay, that is it. You will get no response or service.

He is fun to work with. He is talented, humorous and artistic. He makes you feel at home from the moment you meet him. He has good taste and an instinct to match things with your home decor.

Looking to downsize from our previous home, I needed serious help with furniture placement and replacement. John knew exactly what to do with our current furniture and what furniture to recommend not only based on our home size but the overall theme I was going for. Wow what a make over. I visit John's store from time to time and always could pickup a good deal on some luxury furniture pieces. But the new locations is amazing. Definitely a good decision to move to the big store. Great new selection of Persian rugs and furniture and like always a very welcoming staff. My advice always ask for John. He always finds something that you like and make you one of the best offers you can get. I love the new store.

I have always loved roaming their store - so many unique and beautiful things, and at all price ranges. John is willing to work with customers to ensure that they are not only happy with their purchases, but to also earn their loyalty. Recently I redid my floors in hardwood and could not decide on what rugs to get. John and his staff came to my home with several rugs, and laid them out in both Living and Dining Rooms so that I could see them in my home, see how the colors worked, and how they fit with the furniture. I've bought furniture and lamps from them in the past, and I look forward to new living room furniture from them before the end of the year. Thanks for all your help John!
