Worst place ever If you are looking for furniture do yourself a favor find another place because none of the Employees have any Customer Service at this place. To bad google doesn't have a no star button. They don't communicate with you about delivery, delay or replacements of your broken furniture's & when you call to find out what is going on they get really defensive and aggressive which aggravate me.
If I am spending my money (cash not credit) I need to be treated with respect. I just brought a house and need a few other Furniture's, I will rather take my business to a place where they do know how to treat people like Human. Training should be a most for the staffs.

I guess that we made a mistake trying to support small businesses. I thought small businesses were supposed to be kinder to their customers. Long story short.ordered a bedroom set was here in 2 weeks (Great!). Except one of the dressers was damaged when we picked it up. After a rude encounter with the furniture loaders, we were unsure of it was reordered.
So we called after a few weeks and were told it would be here in 2 weeks (rudely). After 2 weeks we called again and were told another 2 weeks, so 3 weeks later we call again only to get a very mean man (the owner I believe) who then told me that I was rude after calling him out for being rude. never In my life have I been rude to any retail employee and never have I ever left a bad review, but this was enough. good luck shopping there.

I have purchased 2 beds from them. Needless to say the installers are incompetent and left a mess of saw dust and left me a damaged bed rail. After calling I spoke with Blair he decided I was in the wrong and that "they are tired of dealing with me" I will never do business with this company again. Russ and Blair are rude and do not put the customer first.
Although they did replace damaged pieces they were never happy about it. I understand manufacturing defects happen and they blamed the Maxtrix but you can Cleary see by the photos they left saw dust on my floor and the bed rail is scratched. I paid almost 2 thousand dollars to be treated horribly. this is the third time I have had them come out and they never leave the place clean they even left a potion of the leg bent on the loft bed leaving it like that and expected my 5 year old daughter to sleep on like that. They do not take safety into consideration. Avoid at all costs. You can shop in their show room but order direct from the manufacture.

The owner of this store should learn how to do business in the first place. I called the store 5 min ago to ask about a price for a bunk bed as I'm looking to furnish 3 rooms for students and the guy who answered the phone didn't know the pricing so he asks the owner next to him. I guess he forgets to put it on mute as I could hear everything they are talking, so he starts bashing me in front of his employee because. ''I'm calling from a craigslist ad and I'm not looking to buy anything anyway''.
He tells him to not even mention a price or a brand to me cause I'm not worth it anyway, since I'm just shopping around. I guess your customer service needs some improvement then, and I'm sorry I was just looking to get 3 rooms worth of furniture.

Found this place accidentally in my hunt for a quality REAL WOOD bunk bed. Could not be happier with the quality and exceptional service at Bedrooms. Legit SOLID wood-sturdy furniture. It seems indestructible and exceeds industry stands for safety by a long shot. I purchased a twin loft bed floor model with tent and I love that it's so versatile and convertible.
I currently have it set up as a loft with tent and threw a twin bed I already own under it creating bunk beds. However, in the future I can take it off the loft and just have a twin bed with or with out tent and with or with out the safety rails. This toddler won't need another bed until he gets married!

We went here because we wanted to sit on some futons before we bought one. Luke was the only person on duty that evening, and there were a few other couples in the store (it was near closing time on a Thursday). He was very helpful and gave us excellent service despite needing to attend to other people as we were choosing and buying our futon. He answered our questions and was knowledgeable about the products they had in stock, and the shipping time for what they didn't have.
All this, by the way, with our twin 4-year-olds running amok in the store. Then, he singlehandedly carried out the frame and put it on our car's roof racks. I barely managed to get the frame off and up to our front door on my own. I hope he got a good commission from us because he deserves it. For a place I didn't know existed until a few days ago, I'm impressed. 10/10 would drive in route 1 traffic again.

Great store, good selection, kind and helpful employees. Only complaint was we purchased a bed in July, were told 4-6 weeks, and at 6 weeks after calling them multiple times told Headboard was on backorder. They gave me a different one in meantime which is great but It is now mid-November and despite calling every few weeks to check in, and being promised date after date, they only contacted me after I contacted the bed manufacturer to express my dissatisfaction. I just don't appreciate the run around. I wanted to go back for my sons bed but now am hesitant.

I live on the North Shore and wanted to buy a Serta Mattress, which the big store where I usually buy all my furniture from does not carry Serta. Weird huh. I drive by Bedrooms and the giant Serta sheep out front on my way to work so I figured it was a sign that I should shop there. I was long over due to buy a new mattress, like in pain not sleeping well over due.
I call bedrooms spoke with Luke, verified the hours and that he would be there, yes they had Serta, that sheep ain't lying. I go in Luke is the but Sheryl help me for the most part, no one was in the store really, I was told to lay on all the mattress and really get a feel for whats comfy. I did and it's the best and worst thing ever, cuz I bought the best freaking mattress ever! but I paid yes I paid. Mattresses are not cheap.
But may I recommend to all of you taking the time to read this the Serta comfort. it coils AND memory form. I sleep now. I love my bed. As for the $$$ I did buy a king size so if you ya know, that's the big one. Anyway Luke and Sheryl were super nice. We chilled while I lounged on the different mattresses trying to realized which is the most comfortable. Sometime they just let me lay around alone.
Which seems sad as I type it out. I bugged Luke for the fastest possible delivery, and he said one week and one week later I had a new mattress. The delivery guy where great, they took away the old mattress as planned. At the time there was a promo from Serta, to get to free pillows. Luke did the paper work all he needed was my email. Technically I was supposed to fill all that junk out. So yup they are good, nice, helpful local biz.

Very disappointed in this business. Not trustworthy. Was verbally told that 12 months interest free financing was available for orders over $1,000. Spent $1100 but was only given 6 months interest free. The finance co. can't change the terms of the financing until they hear from the store. Spoke with Russ a week ago but he has yet to return my call.

This place is great! We went in here to look at a new, king size, mattress and boxspring set. The showroom staff was very helpful. We also looked at all the other "big" stores along route 1. Russell from Bedrooms sold us a Serta set that was very comfortable and actually costs less than the big stores wanted as their "sale" prices. We also bought a castle bed with a slide for our 5 year old.
It was a special sale for a floor model and will last far longer than he will need a bed with a slide on it. The delivery guys were very friendly and cheerful. They showed up on time and got everything inside and installed quickly and efficiently. I highly recommend any readers to support this small local business over some of the big chain stores. We got great a great deal and exemplary service.

In need of a smaller bed, a waterbed--and we were on a hardside but wanted to switch to softside--choices were limited to actually go in and see and try. We drove from Boston here. David was a pro. He not only was extremely knowledgeable, he also was diplomatically sensitive when to leave us be (to talk privately). Waterbeds are mostly only available ON LINE.
A mistake. A BIG mistake. With a waterbed, my scoliosis sings in the morning and isn't stiff--and we are able to keep our home in the northeast at a chilly 58F (but wonderful to sleep). We did this even in Chicago when the winds blew off the lake and the windchills were MINUS 40 F (or C, doesn't matter at that temp). But if you need a traditional bed, just get David's help. He can do that too.

A $4,000 mistake.first, after seeing the two loft beds had a Vermont, USA stamp inside the drawers we asked if the set was 'made in the USA' and was told yes by the manager of the store who we solely worked with. On delivery day the boxes stated that everything was built in Vietnam! I e-mailed the company and asked if their furniture was ever made in the USA and he answered "no" and that the owner of Bedrooms knew this - the Vermont stamp is on there because the furniture is stored at a warehouse in Vermont!
One of the tall dressers legs looked as if it was soaked and water and the cheap veneer was splitting. I called and reported it to the manager.he acted as if I was trying to pull something over on him. On top of this the ladder for one of the loft beds was all scratched up as well as having two of the same exact loft beds with the dresser that sildes under the loft bed.
The drawers for each long dresser were completely different. One was a heavier gage easy silde drawers while the other was a cheapest of the cheap white pine thin interior drawer. He said the manufacturer changed the drawers and there was nothing he could do! Well.it took over a month to replace the tall dresser with the spilt legs.he arrived at my home by himself and I had to help him deliver the dresser.
We showed him the poor quality drawers and how they barely closed and he right away blamed my children! I told them we have not used the dressers - that had NO clothes in them just yet! He was quick to try and get out of my home and said he would credit me $100.00! We NEVER received the credit.the furniture at Costco is far superior and overall much cheaper.
Please do NOT ever do any business with this place. He is a typical sales person who appears to be nice and helpful at first but once you have a problem with the junk he sells it is over. I wanted to take him to court but thought otherwise. I should of because the furniture and customer service is terrible. I needed a day bed for my 2nd bedroom so after finding BEDROOMS1 on Yelp I gave them a call. Russell knew what I needed and quoted me prices with options on mattresses. When I got to the store Russell greeted me showed me what I needed and he was a couple hundred $$ cheaper than the big guys. I bought it on Monday and it was delivered and set up on Friday.
They arrived in first 30 minutes of the 2 hour time frame and were done and gone in 30 minutes. Probably best furniture purchase experience I've ever had and a LOCAL puchase too.

Such great customer service from Bedrooms. I recently moved to the North Shore from the Berkshires and I completely needed a new bed. My bed from High School just wasnt cutting it. I need to find myself a more mature look and the workers there helped me achieve it, and the reason why I rated the service so high is because of the effort the employees take. I took a photo of my dresser and they helped me find the perfect frame to match it. I'm definitely liking the new set up in my room.

I recently purchased a bed from these guys after I moved to a new place and needed one that was a bigger size. I love it! It's super comfortable and they have great prices here. The staff was really friendly as well, which is always refreshing especially when you're stressed out from the whole moving process. I noticed a lot of really neat things for children's rooms too, so I'd definitely recommend Bedrooms for a place for parents to go who are looking for cool furniture or bedding for kids!

Just took delivery on a beautiful bed and dresser from Bedrooms. Very pleased, nice workmanship on both pieces, made in Vermont (not CHINA) from solid maple. This kind of craftsmanship is worth the price paid and, to me, is a great value. The folks there were friendly, low pressure and helpful. I was told that the items were made to order and would take a few weeks- this was fine with me. Delivery and setup was also done very well, professional friendly guys. All great, highly recommend over the big box, Chinese laminate crap selling stores!

DO NOT purchase ANYTHING from this store! We ordered a bunk bed and put a deposit down in August '12. We were told that it would take 8-12 weeks, no phone call updates, no information, until I called in Nov and Dec, was told that the designer was having financial troubles (and how was this my problem?) and then later told he would make the bed, then told it would be delayed and was promised delivery by 1/4/13, NO BED! Was told I would get a refund, had to call repeatedly to get it, JUST got my refund this week. GO ELSEWHERE!

I have 4 daughters all under the age of 5 and it was definitely time to buy them all new bedroom furniture. A friend recommended I stop by Bedrooms in Peabody. The place is a little further than I would like to travel from Southie, but it was definitely worth my time. Paul was extremely helpful in finding bunk beds that were in my price range and that also would hold up over the next few years. I have another baby on the way and will be returning here in a couple years to buy a new bed!

Paul, Luke, Gary, Lee Ann, and Joe. How do I know the entire staff by name you ask? Because I have to called them every week for the past six weeks in attempt to obtain either the piece of furniture I purchased 2 months ago or my $800 back. Can't get a response or anyone of these wonderful people to return a phone call never mind provide a service or a refund. They seemed great when they took my money.not sure what happened in the following 2 weeks. Customer service is awful! Don't waste your time or your money!

I have never gotten worsee customer service in my life. A man on the phone told me to "give him a break" when I called him about a late delivery, and then, rather than apologizing for the lateness, he continued to argue with me and told me I was being unreasonable. Thanks you massive douche. We just called again because the upholstered tent that came with our bed has ripped 6 days after delivery, and they told us there is nothing they can do about it. Wow. It would have been better to buy online from a faceless internet company than these people.
