Black Goose Design

This is such an amazing store! I could spend hours here and bask in all the beautiful decor. Sam was our designer and she was beyond helpful and made our experience wonderful! Thank you Sam! I will have her assist me every time I go:

Del Reanne was fantastic! She represented the Black Goose Design group impeccably. She communicated design concepts and options clear and with confidence and she provided the guidance that I needed. Exceptional service and I would recommend her to everyone without reservation.

We bought an ottoman and a couch. I had to contact them to find out about pillows she promised I could change out. We were given 4 pillows the same fabric as the sectional couch. I took two of them in, so I only have two pillows. I was expecting pillows that looked good according to interior designer standards, contrasting colors. The overall feeling is I paid a high price but did not receive what I thought I was getting. Their furniture quality is great but customer service could have been better. They wanted to charge me 340$ for 4 more pillows.

High on themselves, and who needs 12 pillows on their couch? Desing is more like copy everything you see in a magazine, zero originality.

I stayed in an AirBNB and LOVED the lofty down comforter on the bed and wanted one for my own bed. I showed up to The Black Goose because the internet said they were one of the only local stores that carry Pine Cone Hill bedding and I wanted to see if I could identify the right model on their floor. Despite having photographed the tags, with numbers that looked important, apparently I failed to capture the SKU. Sam was super helpful and friendly, letting me leaf through all their bedding samples.

She tried to track down the exact model of the duvet insert that I was looking for with her rep but my photos proved unhelpful. So when her rep couldn't answer the question, she REACHED OUT TO THE AIRBNB to find out exactly which duvet inserts they had on their beds. Amazing sleuthing. Above and beyond. My only personal preference is that I wish they carried some more Pine Cone Hill in-store (their sister bedding store, Layers, didn't have much either).

The duvet inserts are better than I've ever experienced; I think they would sell a ton but instead you have to know what you're looking for and make a special order. I would have liked to see in person how lofty the midweight duvet insert is as it's probably useful for more of the year. But I got to sleep under the heavy weight "hibernation" duvet so I know I already love it and took the safe road and ordered what I knew I loved.

All around friendly atmosphere and lovely customer service (every employee I encountered said hello to me, it's a shame other reviewers did not have such a nice experience). And the staff didn't seem to judge or mind that I was only in for one very specific, relatively low-dollar item.

Not very friendly experience for out of area buyers. Would not arrange for someone to load our purchase. They were offering a 10% sale discount if we returned from out of state a week later or 5% discount if we took our purchase today. We accepted the 5% offer so we wouldn't have to come back. When it came time to load our funiture, they said we would have to come back in five days.

They should not have made the offer if they couldn't fulfill the commitment. Nice pieces, poor service, lots of excuses and then they evaded responsibility for not making good on their offer.

This is my favorite place to order furniture from! The employees are so kind and do their best to make sure that you are helped. I love seeing what new things they bring in and love that they have all the fabric selections for lee industries and Wesley hall.

Love the store and the products. Beautiful pieces. Unfortunately, their staff is incredibly rude and unhelpful. I have been looking at several furniture stores that offer interior design service (Gatehouse No. 1 and Alice Lane Interiors) and someone suggested I take a look at The Black Goose. Went in on a Saturday, very few customers in the store. Not one of them even said hello when I walked in the door. Didn't even ask if I needed help. I will definitely be spending my money elsewhere.

I love this store. Everyone is friendly and their products are gorgeous. I hired Ali to help furnish our great room after a remodel. She was super patient with me when I told he I didn't like something, she came up with other options. The finished product was perfect. I highly recommend The Black Goose, and especially Ali.

This place is a joke. I hired one of their interior design consultants to design a few rooms for me. 25k later, I realized that there was very little design present and a lot more furniture saleswoman. Huge bookcase in my office that had a ladder than stretched to the middle of the room--had to return it. Very overpriced on items they upholster in-house, i.e. $2800 for a single person ottoman?

The window treatments are embarrassingly bad.and expensive for stuff that was created in-house.terrible. I could go on and on. Don't believe the 5 star reviews this place is an expensive joke.

Just started working with Ali at the Black Goose. She is amazing and the store is exactly what I've been looking for. They are all very friendly from the minute you walk in the door. Not at all pushy either. I just made my first purchase today and can't wait to add to it! Very excited to have found this place!

This is the BEST home decor/furniture store I have ever been to! Located in a charming old mansion with unique details, I love coming here, even if it's to window shop! I usually don't visit with anything in mind, because I'm sure to leave with much more than I ever anticipated! the furniture is of the best quality (reason for the price! $$$$) but if you're anything like me, you'll have these pieces for a lifetime! so it's worth every penny. every single one of the designers are warm, welcoming & so dang helpful! they work with what you have, and incorporate new accessories to keep your home current. I seriously can't say enough good things about this store. if anything, just go check it out for the atmosphere! the old mansion is gorgeous!

Lovely company, every designer is unique and talented. Plenty of great options and prices and quality are great.

Always my first stop for decor for my home! The girls here are always so friendly and willing to help! This is a must stop if you ever go to Gardner Village! This store has the best everything! If you haven't made the 2 minute drive east from Garden Village you have been missing out! Go check it out! Brooke is amazing and will know what you need for your home!

Absolutely the worsted customer service I have ever encountered even from the owner! Wih being overpriced you would think you would get treated decent!
