The retail shop is located on the property of the historic home, Laurel Meadow. Laurel Meadow, circa 1800, is of hall and parlor design with a story and a half over an english basement. The house is registered as a Virginia Historic Landmark and is on the National Register of Historic Places. We are pleased to offer high quality hand-made furniture and accessories from so many fine craftspeople.

John Martin is from Pennsylvania and has been crafting Windsor chairs and settees for over 25 years. John makes numerous styles and are available in choices of woods and finishes. The Workshops of David T. Smith, from Ohio, offer a wide range of products. They produce country, Shaker, and formal furniture as well as Windsor chairs, lighting, smalls and kitchens.
