Woodland Creek Furniture is a manufacturer and retailer of quality indoor and outdoor rustic furniture. Woodland Creek began handcrafting furniture in 1999. Our story began with a straightforward and simple goal - to become the premier rustic furniture store in the Midwest showcasing the most unique and highest quality rustic furniture and decor. The founders started by building and placing a rustic table next to the side of a moderately traveled highway, in the hopes of a sale. It sold. A small retail store and workshop followed.

Woodland Creek started with an idea to make unique rustic furniture from exotic woods. During the summer of 1997 Robert Evina, Woodland Creek's founder, traveled extensively through remote villages in Russia, Ukrainia, Romania, and Hungary. During his travels he came across beautiful exotic woods. Having watched his uncles in Alaska craft log homes and rustic furniture, he knew the exotic woods would make some very interesting rustic furniture.
The internet is a blessing for people in search of products and services. The internet allows you to find whatever you are searching for at low prices with just a few clicks of a mouse. Most retail businesses believe that shoppers make their purchasing decision based on "price" - the lower the price the better the chance of making the sale.

I tried to get quotes for a custom piece of log furniture. After initial contact it took weeks to get a quote back. When I responded that I wanted to accept a quote and order, it was almost a month until I heard from them again. Lots of excuses which I might buy once, but twice? The lack of response just trying to purchase something made me nervous about actually ordering from them and by the time they finally got back to me I had ordered it elsewhere.

I wanted to write a review for Woodland Creek Furniture. I am actually really glad that I ordered my bunk beds from Woodland Creek Furniture. I was in the furniture business for almost five years. I owned my own store so I was optimistically hopeful that I had made a great decision. I had a nice large room that I wanted to convert to a kids game room and wanted to buy three bunk beds for this same room.
I wanted the bunk beds to be strong enough that any size adult could sleep on them. I wasn't sure who would be using them but since I have a lot of grand kids and children of my own, I decided to seek out the strongest beds I could find. I came across Woodland Creek Furniture during my search and found this particular style of bunk bed that I loved.
I called the company and Scott was the salesperson that helped me. He was very informative and answered all my questions to my satisfaction. I did have an advantage since I had previously been in the furniture business, I knew what questions to ask. I confirmed twice the color selection and style that I was ordering. Since I was ordering three sets of bunk beds I wanted to absolutely make sure that I was ordering the exact beds and they were absolutely clear on my choices.
I was given an estimated delivery time and was explained the entire process. There is always great anticipation when anyone orders furniture for their home. It is a very personal purchase and one that lasts a very long time. I called to inquire how my order was coming along and Kallie responded very professionally and very directly to my inquiry. My order was delivered just this past week as promised.
The Fedex driver called me the day before to notify me of the delivery as was promised. They also had a tracking number that I could follow my shipment from Michigan. The Fedex driver was awesome. He was able to back right up to our garage doors and helped us unload the crates. I was shocked at how well the crates were built. Of course I had another person there to help me remove the two large crates with the help of the Fedex driver.
Once the crates were unloaded the Fedex truck left. We had the crates taken apart within 30 minutes. There was absolutely no damage on the exterior of the crates and the inside was perfect. Their packaging technique was amazing to me. Since I was in the business, I knew how it should be packaged and Woodland exceeded my expectations 100%! Everything was wrapped tight and careful with plastic wrap and cardboard.
I had all three bunk beds set up within several hours. I was missing some wood screws for one of the bunk beds but I was so happy with my beds that I just ran to Home Depot and purchased $7 worth the wood screws. The quality of the beds were a 10 out of 10. The stain and distressing was perfect. We are thrilled with our decision to purchase from Woodland. I feel bad for those customers that have had a bad experience because my was just the opposite. Good Luck in the future with all your furniture purchases!
