Fabulous Product! Excellent Service! I needed to replace a broken dining table's glass top (42"x72"). Before making the buying decision, I checked 5 different companies of the same product with price offering varying from $1700 to $2300. Then I came across to Glass Tops Direct. Seeing the overwhelmingly good reviews and photos, I decided to give it a shot at the cost of $500.

Well well well. let me tell you something - the quality of the glass top totally exceeded my expectation! not to mention the wonderful customer serve and how helpful the delivery men were! Once again, I am convinced that HIGH price point does not mean a thing when it comes to VALUE and SATISFACTION.

I changed order last minute and cost was increased.but they charged me the same and it came on time. V solid customer focus.

Pleasantly surprised with their awesome customer service. I ordered a bathroom mirror and it sat in the complex office for 10 days and when we finally came by to install it was smashed inside the box. I was beyond the 7 day return window, and knew the timing error was on me, but still reached out to ask for a possible compromise, prepared that there wouldn't be since it would be impossible to prove fault. NO QUESTIONS ASKED, customer service IMMEDIATELY SENT REPLACEMENT MIRROR AT NO CHARGE; not to mention I had the response within a few hours of writing them. KUDOS TO JIMMY J.! I'm impressed with you guys, that was above and beyond!

I ordered a 54" round 1/2" thick clear glass for a table top. The glass was shipped from NY to CA in a paper thin cardboard box with a little bit of bubble wrap on one side of the outside of the box and the box wrapped in shrink wrap. Inside the box they placed just as thin pieces of styrofoam on either side of the glass and some thin styrofoam around the corners.

The delivery guy pulled the package out of the truck and rolled the square box onto our porch. The box was ripped open on the sides and when I opened the box, the styrofoam that was meant to protect the glass was in pieces. You would think this glass company would be better at packaging glass to ship clear across the country. Thicker, more sturdy box, heavier cardboard, thicker styrofoam, bubble wrap around the actual glass, corner protections around the glass? Thankfully the glass only suffered a fairly minor chip on the edge.

Still for the price I paid, I expect a perfect piece of glass. I contacted the company and was told to send an email with pictures. They replied saying the original packaging had been altered by the shipping company. "Please know, this was packed in a wood frame on a pallet for ease of handling, which obviously did not make the full trip. It is not the first time I have heard of this happening, and sure it will not be the last.

The packaging you received is our base packaging before it gets crated for shipping. Depending on the situation, the frame is removed to make the item easier to fit / stack, then the pallet is removed so they can stand the glass up on the side which saves room on the truck. It does not happen often, but it does on occasion." So, buyer beware, packaging may or may not be guaranteed to be the best. They did offered a 20% refund for the damage, which is commendable.

We ordered a glass top for a base that we already had. We received confirmation of the order immediately and were sent tracking information soon after. The top arrived early and in perfect condition. It had been wrapped well. Nothing bad to say about this experience and we will use Glass Tops direct if we need additional products down the line.

The table top we ordered arrived with a small, intact chip. We had a glass sepcialist take a look. It could be fixed but there would always be a small divet. GTD sent a new one, no charge and did so with no fuss! Outstanding customer service, I highly recommend this company.

Wanted to replace my current glass kitchen table with a smaller glass table. I really like my table base but decided I can get a smaller glass. I searched the internet for glass top, came across Glass Tops Direct. Selected my glass, ordered. Company had a delay in shipping, but kept me informed via email in shipping time and made sure if shipping time delay was ok.

Since it took months to get my kitchen done I was really in no rush. But from ordering and receiving it was only a couple weeks. Very please with the glass top. It's looks really good. I got the beveled edge. Would definitely recommend Glass Top Direct.

A friend of mine broke the glass top to an antique table that was 18"x32". I was excited to see I could find a replacement that size. When the product was delivered, it was 1/8" shorter than 32" long so it was too small for the glass insert spot. It barely was too small, falling off of the small edge to set the glass on. The company told me the sizes could vary which is COMPLETE BS. don't advertise a certain size if you aren't competent enough to cut a piece that exact size. Most things need to be exact measurements. Make it right and give me the size I ordered.

I wanted to place a piece of glass on top of my bedside table to add to it's life. I checked both local and online stores and Glasstops Direct had the best prices. Luckily, they had the size that I wanted to so I went ahead and placed my order. I'll be honest, I was afraid I would get some cheap piece of glass that would easily break but that was not the case at all. The glass not only arrived sooner than quoted, it was extremely well packaged and the glass itself was much thicker than I expected. I'm so pleased with this purchase!

The table tops we purchased were delivered to our billing address in Maryland instead of the shipping address in Florida. Glass Tops Direct offered to send call tag for the table tops but wouldn't be able to deliver them to FL until following week. When I explained that we would need to overnight the tops so that they could make it onto a cargo ship before it left the dock, we were offered a $40 credit (on a $209 order).

I replied that it cost our company $470 to overnight the tops. The response we received was "I would definitely recommend ground!" I wouldn't recommend using this company if you have a deadline.

Glasstopsdirect.com Mirror arrived days before I was expecting it. Looks great. Going into one of our guest baths, following remodel. 18 wide x40 tall for a 28 inch wide wall space. Three mounting brackets on the back for either horizontal or vertical mounting. About 100$ with free shipping. Couldn't beat the value. We have two or three more bathrooms we will update, and I will definitely look here first for the next project. The mirror hasn't been dusted yet-this is it out of the styrofoam packing.

The glass top I ordered was made and packaged to perfection. I use it under my laptop to protect my desk - far superior to any laptop protectors available in plastic or any material, anywhere else. Christmas Eve we are preparing our dinner and hear a thunderous crash upstairs. You know what we're thinking! Santa crashed into our house! But no. The desk top we bought from Glass Tops Direct shattered into a thousand pieces. Saturday, the day after Christmas, I send a photo to the general email for the company and cross my fingers they get back to me the next week.

But no. They got IMMEDIATELY back to me via phone, explained how despite it being tempered he's seen it happen once every few years, and assured me they'd deliver a replacement in a few days. Ordered 16 days ago. Still nothing. Website says in-stock for immediate ship. Nope. Didn't ship for over a week, and still stuck in delivery limbo over a week later.

I have just placed my second order with glasstopsdirect.com. My first order of glass corner shelves arrived without any breakage to the glass at the address which I designated. I also ordered shelf brackets. All items received were as ordered. Your prices are significantly cheaper than our local glass supplier/cutter. We are ordering again and will have our local glass cutter cut the glass to our specifications, as you do not specially cut your glass.

Your site was easy to use and our order shipped promptly. The only trouble which we had was to determine what thickness the back of the shelf brackets were, ie. how far from the wall the shelf bracket would hold the edge of the glass shelf, as your site does not say. Re: Brackets SQC-01, HRC-01, 2REC-01. The shelf brackets are very nice looking and sturdy. Because you have free shipping, we ordered all of the shelf brackets on the first order, measured the brackets at issue, and now we are ordering the remaining shelves.

Ordered 54" round top. Shipping took awhile but not bad. Surprised the glass made it in one piece as the packing box was totally destroyed and the glass visible. The glass itself had a small rough imperfection in it which was not too bad if you put that side down however the real issue was that the glass itself was not flat and was cupped in the middle so it would not lay flat. Checked the table, flat, checked the glass and clearly 1/8" cupped.

It would either be high centered and almost spin like top or would be supported at the edges. Wrote the company back and they did give me 20% back but not helpful if the glass cracks because it is not fully supported. So disappointed in the quality for sure and would have been a one star but gave back one star for at least refunding some of my money back. Probably would not buy again knowing I can't check it first and can't really return it.

One star for the customer service and delivery. After "confirming" with the warehouse that delivery would be Wednesday or Thursday (I wouldn't call that confirming since I couldn't get a straight answer), the delivery showed up unannounced on Tuesday afternoon. I repeatedly asked for an advanced notice of the delivery so I could notify my building but apparently that was ignored.

The "white glove" service consisted of the delivery men leaning the glass top against the wall in the hallway outside my apartment. They started to walk away and I asked, "can you at least bring it inside?" Which they did. I immediately called customer service to let them know about the experience and they said there was nothing they could do since I "told them" to "just" bring it inside. Meanwhile, they were content with leaving it in the hallway! Is that really white glove delivery?

Now I have a 118lb package blocking access to my closet that I definitely can't move myself, nonetheless lift it to put the glass top on the table base. Customer service told me to "ask someone to help". Wow, no kidding. **to add insult to injury, the unannounced delivery showed up while I was on the phone with a client and I had to postpone the call. I do not (and never will) treat clients the way this company does.

Absolutely horrible business to work with. Never in my life have I been so disrespected by a vendor. As someone who works in the high-end fast-pace retail business, I am extremely understanding of every vendor's time and efficiency. However, in the middle of a pandemic, for a company to be so absolutely inconsiderate with a complete lack of compassion of our business doing our best to stay afloat, I am absolutely ashamed to have even gone to this vendor as an option to begin with. Will never work with them again and have already recommended to numerous contacts to never work with Glass Tops Direct.

We were very excited about getting our new round glass table top from Glass Tops direct after reading all the great reviews. Once we received it we checked from breaks, nicks, etc, and there were none, but the glass seemed not to be polished correctly. There is a streaky, filmy, scratchy, gritty surface that we are not able to get cleaned or clear off on the entire surface.

After contacting the company, the only resolution they offered is to return it (at our cost) for a replacement or to refund ONLY 30 percent of the cost. Given the cost of shipping for something this heavy, returning it is not a good option! Update: We are working with them to resolve this issue and they have offered to pay return shipping. 1/13/2020. Update: they replaced our glass top at no cost and it arrived in perfect condition. We didn't even have to return the defective one. They really stood behind their product. Thanks Jimmy! 1/20/2020.

What a fabulous company. Free delivery was made in four days, the 42 72 inch glass with beveled edges was carefully packed in foam and arrived in perfect condition. The trucking company handled the over 200 lb. package with great care. The quality and value exceeded my expectations. If I ever need any glass in the future this will be my go to place.

I will highly recommend glasstopsdirect to all my friends. Thank you for dressing up my dining room and protecting my investment of an expensive wood table. This glass tabletop is already being admired by everyone who has seen it.

After a disappointing experience with an Amazon.com third party seller, who never delivered (literally), we found glass tops direct. We ordered the 48" round glass table top 1/2" thick and with 1" bevel. The glass arrived and had some defects. We contacted Glass Tops Direct and they immediately sent a replacement. This glass arrived in perfect condition and now highlights on top of our table. We applaud the customer care and service of Glass Tops Direct. It gave us confidence in their business.

I recently purchased a 44 x84 rectangles tempered glass for my table I purchased from Bova. Customer service was outstanding. My glass top was perfect and so beautiful. Edges has no green color at all. The company offered the lowest price on the internet. I am extremely pleased and will refer them to others. Y Jefferson

I went to a local glass shop in Houston to see if they could cut a round piece to replace a shattered glass in a small table that belonged to my grandparents. I was quoted $135 plus a $50 "set-up" fee. I did a quick search online and found glass tops direct. The website was easy to maneuver and I had a perfectly cut 16" round glass top within a week of ordering.

I was a bit skeptical of having glass shipped, but the packaging was on point and glass was delivered in tact. I think a semi could have ran over the package and glass top would have still been in one piece. Thanks Glass Tops Direct!

I could not be happier with my purchase. It took less than a week to receive the 45" x 12" 3/8' tempered glass shelves along with the appropriate brackets for hanging these floating shelves. The shelves weigh about 20 pounds each. Installation instructions were clear and concise. It took about an hour and a half to install all four sets of brackets clean (they were very clean already) and adjust the 4 shelves.

The shipping containers were card board, but each shelf and set of brackets were separately boxed, wrapped and protected on all 6 sides with Styrofoam. No damage at all. All of this quickly, delivered to my door for about 60% of what the cost would have been if I purchased locally. Thank you Glass Tops Direct!

My 42"X72"X3/8" glass top on my dining room table got creamed by a falling chandelier. I looked toward the web to rescue me. I luckily spotted this company. I found a 33"X73"X3/8" tempered glass top which is actually a better fit in the dining room. This item cost $300 and was shipped free. I looked at other sites that cost more and one place wanted hundreds of dollars to ship it. Tempered glass is the only way to go because, when my glass top got broken there were dozens of razor sharp pieces, some of them weighing 20 pounds.

I sweated profusely cleaning them up and disposing of them without losing or maiming any body parts. If tempered glass shatters, you can shovel and sweep it up. When the glass arrived in 3 days, it was packed perfectly in foam and sturdy cardboard and was in perfect condition with the surfaces totally clean. My questions were addressed within 24 hours. This will definitely be my go-to for any glass top I will ever need (We have several glass tops in our home) and, and as Murphy said, "If anything can go wrong, it will".

Looking for a great deal - of aggravation, this is a source for it. White glove service means showing up unannounced, dumping 80 lbs of glass at the front door and then saying well "you shouldn't have accepted the delivery". And of course there is always "you don't need white glove service you can move it yourself" Let's face it - glass is glass, this is a convenience channel. No convenience, no reason to waste your time or money. The world is very full of glass companies
