Creative Furniture Restoration Corp. is a full service refinishing and restoration company. All furniture is hand stripped, repaired, custom finished and restored. All work is done in our fully equipped workshop. We are fully insured. We have spent over twenty five years serving all of Long Island and we appreciate your patronage.

Creative Furniture Restoration Corp. specializes in custom finishing, refinishing and antique restoration. We have a long history of professionalism and outstanding service. We do business the old fashioned way- both in the way we treat your customers' furniture and in the way we treat you as a valued colleague and client.
All stripping is hand done. We do it by hand, rather than by tank dipping, in order to preserve the furniture from harsh chemical that would saturate the wood and ruin it. The wood is stripped clean with premium chemicals and neutralized with a special agent to remove residue and silicone. The final product is clean and ready for sanding and finishing.
Just a quick letter to let you know how much I appreciate the wonderful restoration work you and your crew did for all of my Mom's furniture (I believe it was over 13 pieces but who's counting). You truly have a passion for furniture restoration as evidenced by the fact that you allowed me stop by and "approve" of the finish color/treatment for my Mom's furniture to make sure I was completely satisfied before the job was done.

Only giving one star because zero was not an option. Howie is an absolute abomination of a businessman. We had 3 pieces of furniture sent to him at this business several months ago for some refinishing. What he claimed would only take a few weeks. After 5 months of unanswered calls and emails, I called the company and pretended to be a new customer looking for an inquiry, to which he finally responded and had the balls to get confrontational with me.
He then stated he only needed an additional 2 weeks however it's been almost 2 months and we are back to having our calls and emails go unanswered. Stay away from this place!

Howie and his team (Bobby and others) are just great. They truly cared so much about my project. They assisted with paint colors and were very accommodating when we changed colors at the last minute. Our dining room set now has a black finish to match our new decor. They picked up and delivered our dining room set with no issues and finished our project early! Would definitely use them again

Howard and Bobby are true artisans. I had a sleek Dialogica bed ("Lana") designed by the late Sergio Savarese that I was not willing to part with, but the dark red stained wood was 20 years past its shelf life. I wanted to recycle the bed for use in a seaside condo and convert it from dark red to a more updated "Greige" finish. Within ten calendar days of giving Howard and Robert my desired finish sample, they replicated my finish sample EXACTLY using a 6 step lacquer process in which they created a custom base and custom wash which they repeatedly applied until the bed had the richness and depth I had requested.
Originally when I asked Bobby "is yours a two step or three step process", he grinned and said "I work with the piece and I take it through as many steps as it needs to make it beautiful". Between dropping off and picking up my bed I watched Bobby fix a fruitwood table that movers mangled and broke off a chunk of the tabletop. Bobby created the missing wood, and then faux bois painted the fruitwood so that you couldn't even tell where the repair was. Thrilled to have found them and they should be in every decorator's rolodex for artisan level work with great turnaround and service.
