Wow, what a difference a brand makes! What can I say about the Bernhardt Sofa and coffee table I purchased at Safavieh - simply beautiful. The 100 inch Noel sofa is so luxuriously plush that I feel guilty sitting on it - Oh what the heck! We all deserve a guilty pleasure or two (lol). Reza was extremely helpful, sealed the deal with a promise of a fast delivery. Got it in three weeks: SWEET! If you are looking for quality furnishings that are breathtakingly beautiful, the Safavieh showroom is filled with attractive offerings that are sure to please.

The work ethic at this place is so shady. I order nightstand in September 2021. They promised delivery within 10 days. After 15 days, I did not get a call. I called to ask and they promised to get back to me and they never did. They told me that it had be backed up till April. I called in April and they told me they'd call back. As I'm writing this, they promised to call me back for the 8th time and they still have not. It's May and I decided to go the store.

The manager Ray, who kept asking for my phone number, had said he was going to update it in their system since January and he never did. He told me my nightstand had been backed up till July. I told him, I was ready to cancel my order and he asked to call me back the following and he did not. I am very certain he still did not update my phone number to their data base. I'm incredibly disappointed.

I wonder if it's just me or if they just don't respect people. I'm confused. It's not my first time ordering furniture from there; I bought my bed, my couch, and accent chair online. Perhaps they only respect a certain category of people. I normally don't write reviews but I thought i'd take my time and do this. I will post it on all other platforms.

Worst service I have ever experienced. I was sold a glass table that was never in stock - I called a my sales associate more than 10 times with in 2 months to follow up on the delivery of my item. Never got an update. I was told I would receive it in three weeks and 2 months later was told it did not exist. Extremely disappointed.

This was white glove customer service at its best. Lots of flexibility shown in allowing us to retain a rug a little bit longer as we made up our minds, delivery was on time, and the associates who delivered and/or picked up our rugs were patient, helpful, and showed respect for our property and our time. It just couldn't have been better. Thank you!

Worst experience with this company. They were making up charges and lied about product being available, then gave me the floor sample and didn't discount it. Then wouldn't deliver on a day convenient for me, it was nearly impossible to get the table. Finally got it and they dropped it at the front door and me and my husband had to carry it inside over 100#s. Will not order from them again.

I kept changing my mind about the size of the rug I purchased and each time Jeff and the rest of the staff at the 6th avenue store were wonderfully accommodating. A terrific store with terrific staff.

I love my new sofa. Because of supply chain issues it took a long time to get it. I wish I would have received updates but I had to call them each time. The delivery was great. We live in a complicated building and the guys didn't complain at all. Very professional!

I bought a beautiful table from here. The saleswoman Joyce was very helpful. With the pandemic, manufacturing and delivery took quite some time, however Joyce informed me from the very beginning there could be delays. She remained very responsive throughout the waiting period. When the table was delivered the service was efficient and the delivery men were courteous. I am very happy with my experience and would shop with them again as well as recommend them to friends and family.

A nice selection of furniture. Purchasing is easy - getting your items delivered is another story. We had to call our salesperson constantly to get the job done because once he got his sales commission, he forgot we existed. We finally got our in stock items delivered two months after purchasing them - only because we called twice a week! Otherwise, I predict delivery would have happened sometime in 2022 or never.

Buyer beware. This year my parents bought a $6K outdoor table/chairs and the first chance the weather cooperated, we enjoyed dinner on it. Upon cleaning up my mother wiped down the table with dish soap. It immediately discolored the wood which did not come out. Their store manager, Ray made a house call to inspect. He used the same Dawn dish soap to wipe the table and again the wood changed color.

The table is supposedly guaranteed for life but Safevieh- Livingston would not stand behind its manufacturer, Jordan Brown and refused to take back. Ray said it was a floor model and that the sale was final. If Dawn has this effect on the table, one can only imagine how Mother Nature will treat it! The lack of COVID concern in this establishment, well, concerns me. The staff can often be found incorrectly wearing a mask, or not wearing one at all. It seemed as though the only correctly masked people were myself and the young woman in the front taking temperatures. It is upsetting to see that there is a clear lack of effort to protect each other and their clients.

The absolute worst customer service. Salesgirl swore up and down that my custom order because of COVID would be no more that 8 weeks which is to be expected. My problem is that she did not follow up on our choice of fabric when our couch was ready to be made. Unacceptable. So we travel to the store to choose another fabric. original sales girl had the day off so we worked with another lady.

Who was apologetic for the incompetence and we proceeded to choose another fabric which cost more at their expense because of our inconvenience and what do you know I get a phone call on the way home with news that the original fabric we chose is Miraculously back in stock but we will not receive the couch for another six weeks. They promised a loaner couch to be delivered within a week of course that didn't happen when they said it would. we are currently looking for another couch elsewhere. please if you want a pleasant experience. DONT SHOP HERE. they are all smiles and sunshine taking your money. Good luck chasing them and the run around is a joke. Excuse after excuse with everyone I've spoken to

So after a long negotiation, I agreed to purchase an area rug from the Livingston NJ store. I was assured and reassured the $6750.00 area rug included padding. Upon delivery, I think even the installers, were surprised that they supplied us with a grid pad NOT PADDING. The gentleman who sold me the carpet replied that "it was the manufacturer recommended " product.

I guess as an attorney I will find out what is truly"recommended. I have other rugs in my home with appropriate padding. If anyone else has any issues or problems with this store please feel free to consult with me. I'm seeking justice. 7323247777

Wandered in here last Sunday looking for a patio umbrella and ended up leaving with a chair and an ottoman. Suzanne was absolutely wonderful. She walked us all around the store showing us different options. As usual, we walked away with the first things that we saw. It's always fun to walk into a store looking for something and ending up leaving with something completely different.

In interest of full disclosure, at 65,000 square feet, chances are they'll have something for everyone to like, if not many things. We love our new chair and ottoman & will absolutely be back to purchase more. Thanks, Suzanne. See you soon.

I won't buy from them again. We ordered 2 crystal lamps 8 weeks ago, and can't get a call back from anyone in store for an ETA on when they'll arrive. Empty promises to call back, no action. There are enough upscale furniture stores out there today, that this one isn't a "must buy".

I searched for days in several different stores for a dining room rug with very specific dimensions. Kosh was extremely helpful and honest with her advice. Later when my husband came back with me Kosh was busy with someone else and Ray helped us. He spent time with us answering questions and showing us several different rugs. He had patience and was not pushy at all. We had a most pleasant experience and love our new rug!

Disappointing customer service. I ordered a table in May. It's now October and still waiting for it. I understand delays happen but I was asked to pay for the balance of the table in order to ship the item from the manufacturer to Safavieh's warehouse. I did so about a month and half ago and they NOW claim they are having an issue w/ their trucks and are saying it will take another month.

Very attentive at the point of sale but after that, they completely dropped the ball. Waiting 6 months for a table is absolutely ridiculous. Had I known upfront, I would have purchased another table I was looking at which would have arrived on time and much earlier.

Wow WORST customer service @ your Livingston store on RT in NJ After spending over $15k on various furniture(~5yrs ago ) The couch we bought broke, Looking for some advice on how to arrange for repair. Not looking for any free work only knowledgeable advice. Rep says we should Google "furniture repairs". Really? I guess better to Amazon it! Very unprofessional!

We have purchased many items from this store including two very high quality rugs. Most recently we bought a sectional sofa for our new home as well as the coolest free shaped wood cocktail table with a lucite leg. On top of that, we ordered 8 dining room chairs. We have always found the quality to be excellent and when they have a sale (they were or you buy it off the floor--we did with the cocktail table), price is even better.

I always know what I am going to get at Savafieh with many styles of furniture to choose from. We have found the staff quite helpful and friendly too. Once I had a return and it was handled with ease as well. #onehappycustomer

Safavieh Livingston is a one stop solution for quality furniture and beautiful home decor pieces. We just moved from Singapore and had to furnish our whole house. We found some lovely pieces here including our rugs, tables, accessories, show pieces and even a very contemporary dining table. The staff is very helpful and patient. Gianna is great. We must have asked them to take down already 20 rugs before we finalised one. We even went back to get another one for another room as the first one was perfect. We would highly recommend this outlet to anyone looking for some cool things.

This store was eh. I'm looking to redo my apartment; possibly transitioning into a new place so I came here for some ideas and for possible purchases. Out of maybe 7 people roughly in the store only 3 of them spoke (not really good odds). The furniture was good quality as far as the beds, the dresser drawers and the rugs but the seats felt a little hard and uncomfortable. Walking into the store-I didn't feel the excitement and I know that sounds weird BUT although the quality isn't that good.

I get very excited walking into IKEA lol. Overall not a bad store but not the place where I would want to buy furniture. Ps- you guys need to step it up a bit with the customer service.

I was looking for a sofa set and walked into the store. Walked around for 15 minutes looking at their sofas and saw 2 salespeople looked at me but they never approached me asking if I needed any help. I guess they assumed that I couldn't afford anything because I was wearing a tee shirt and sweatpants, so I walked out. Oh well, their loss was someone else's gain. I went to another furniture store nearby and custom ordered a leather sofa set.

This store has proven to be the worst furniture store I have ever done business with. Their customer service is horrible, uncaring. We purchased several pieces of furniture from them including a sofa which sagged on one side. We called them and they sent a serviceman who had no clue as to what he should do to fix the problem. He put in a temporary fix.

We called Safavieh numerous times to correct the problem correctly but, though they promised the world, did nothing. I would never, never shop here again. We still have the uncorrected problem.

Designers, don't waste your time shopping here! Find other resources! Safavieh is painfully slow, lazy and RUDE-especially their manager, STEVE. You would think they'd take care of their design customers since we would be recurring customers, but nope, they really could care less about you. If they treat the designers so badly, imagine how they'd treat their customers off the street. Safavieh is the epitome of where not to buy furniture.

The management offered me a discount in exchange for a good review. I would be wary of the good reviews on this page since they might not be authentic. I ordered two sofas and they arrived damaged so I had to send them back. I do not recommend this store.

We recently purchased a new sofa at Safavieh and had a great experience. After visiting many stores that were just trying to sell us, we went to Safavieh and met with Abigail (Abby), who is one of the on-staff interior designers. Abby asked a ton of questions to get an idea of our taste, the room we are furnishing, etc. We were pretty sure of what sofa we wanted, but wanted to sleep on it (no pun intended).

She didn't try to pressure us into buying that day and, instead, told us that she would continue to think about ideas for our room. We went back a few days later and, while Abby wasn't working, her colleague, Kosh helped us out and even had the room drawn to scale for us. We finally decided on the "Precedent" model and ordered it a week later with Abby.

It was the most professional furniture transaction we've had. Super smooth. Quality furniture isn't inexpensive, but I believe that Safavieh provided good value for the cost of our sofa. I recommend Abby (and Kosh) if you need assistance with furnishing a room.
