Dean Soloaga founded Dean's Upholstery in 1984. Dean has a bachelor's degree in environmental design with an emphasis in furniture design from the University Of California Davis. From the beginning Dean has provided the highest quality upholstery work to his clients, while keeping prices low. He is able to do this by employing skilled professionals and the latest techniques and equipment in his workplace.
Dean's Upholstery offers an extensive selection of fabrics to choose from or you can provide your own. After the material selection process, your furniture will be picked up. When you entrust us to re-upholster a piece of furniture, all existing material is completely removed. The frame and springs are then carefully inspected and repaired accordingly.
You recovered my ancient sofas last fall and I just wanted to say thanks. They still look great (although I usually keep them covered with bedspreads Because of the cats' fur) Every time I have guests I show them off. They are beautiful, comfortable, warm, and I love them. Thanks so much for restoring my mom's sofas to me!

I had an estimate done by this place on a sofa I wanted re-upholstered. A pillow back sofa with 2 seat cushions. After being given a HUGE estimate for labor only (as I had my own fabric), I was told that the pillows are extra! And, the pillows are 2$/inch! I've never heard of such a thing. Needless to say, this place did not recover my sofa!

A year ago I discovered Dean's Upholstery, my couch was in need of repair! I think supporting local business is very important, after calling several others I stumbled across his number. Not only did he return my call in a timely manner, the appointment was made and he showed up on time! The work that was preformed is of the highest standard, so much so that I called them back twice! How's that for quality!

I am so impressed with Dean, his professionalism and his eye for design. I had a both a sofa and an armless chair recovered by Dean's Upholstery. We discussed fabrics, pricing, durability and some design changes that made all the difference in my pieces. Pricing was very fair, especially since reupholstery allowed me to keep some quality pieces rather than purchase new 'throw-away' pieces of the big box stores. Brought some ratty looking dining room chairs to Dean. We discussed the project in detail. He reviewed our fabric choices and offered sound advice regarding stain resistance and durability. I would highly recommend Dean's Upholstery! I had a large leather sofa that had needed some repair done to the end recliners. It also had some leather fading issues and the cushions needed new foam. They were able to make all the repairs and fix the fading issue as well as clean and condition the couch. Dean and his assistant did a fantastic job. I was amazed at how quickly they were able to get the job completed in such a timely manner. It looks and feels like a brand new couch.

Just had 2 vintage chairs reupholstered and they did a fabulous job. I was able to email pictures of the chairs to receive an estimate, and that made it super easy. I was able to provide my own fabric. Dean's re-stained the woodwork as well as the upholstery. I am very pleased with the outcome and service, and would use again for my next project!

My girlfriends parents referred us to Dean to get some chairs re-upholstered recently. We had seen some of the work he had done on the furniture at their house and decided to give him a call. Dean was extremely friendly and professional and our chairs look brand new! Now I'm looking around for other things I can send to him. I will post some pics soon!
