They are awesome! I bought a mattress there a year and a half ago. I've had to replace it twice now, never did I ever realize that a mattress was covered under a warranty. Anyways, long story short, the customer service skills that you get there, you will not ever get anywhere else! They are polite, friendly, and will always go the extra mile to be sure you are happy from start of purchase to delivery!

Ross was great! We ordered furniture for an addition we were getting done. With all the delays for COVID, the addition took longer than expected. Ross held our furniture for over 6 months at no cost to us. When we were ready for delivery, they were so fast to deliver, and set up was done quickly. The furniture is BEAUTIFUL and very well made, and prices were extremely reasonable. Everyone we worked with was so friendly and helpful. I will definitely be shopping here again!

Thh=is local buisness has the unfortuate reputation that it is cheap. This is quite untrue, The products are offered at a fair price, and they have some things that I've never seen in other more mainstream stores. Also the furniture is of great quality.

Ross furniture was an absolute delight to work with! First off they came in with BY FAR the best price for the couch I was looking for. Saw the exact couch I wanted at some major retail stores Josh hands down had the best deal - not to mention awesome customer service! I had to reschedule the delivery three times (which I'm sure was beyond annoying) and they had no problem with making the rearrangement!

I also bought my mattress from here and I could not be happier with it! Can't preach it enough - SHOP LOCAL and if you're looking for any new furniture, do yourself a favor and check out Ross before you make a purchase elsewhere! ALSO everyone that comes over flips out about how comfortable the couch is! 10/10 recommend!

My husband and I were in desperate need for a new recliner when our old one broke. Staff here is amazing and very helpful. They had our new recliner delivered and set up in less than 24 hours after purchase.

My wife and I went to Ross furniture looking for a mattress. We had a great experience visiting Ross Furniture. We were helped by Josh who was extremely knowledgeable of the products and very low pressure. He really tried to make sure we were well educated so we could make a proper decision. He gave us time to look around and when we had questions, he was more than happy to assist.

The store itself is in a historic building with 3 floors. There's a variety of wood and upholstered furniture. The prices seemed very reasonable. When we were looking at mattresses, we looked at brand that was 100% American made (right in Hartford, CT). You can tell that Ross is about about quality and selling furniture that will last. If you're looking for furniture, definitely check them out. The service was great and you're supporting a small business that has been around for 70+ years.

Ross Furniture epitomizes the charm and customer service that often comes with a family owned business. This store never fails to accommodate my myriad of needs as an interior decorator. I have worked for years with Josh and he is incredibly helpful. All staff/family are helpful and downright pleasant. It's a great atmosphere and you quickly get the feeling that you are amongst friends and family. Earlier this week, I went to five furniture stores in search of a couch.

It became clear to me that, due to Covid supply chain disruption, there would be no couch in my client's near future. I then decided to drive to Dover to see what Ross Furniture could do for me. Within 30 minutes I found the perfect sofa, was able to buy it off the floor (which no furniture stores are doing now) and came under budget. You can't ask for more than that!

I purchased bedroom sets, living room furniture, and some mattresses and I have never had a bed experience at any other furniture store. They are always helpful, kind, and being family owned definitely makes a difference!

I wanted desperately to give Ross's Furniture five stars. It was home to my family. But after Ryan, gave me "his stern talking to" it RUINED what would of been the best experience ever, and the beginning of another generation of Ross Furniture purchasers. It is a shame that anyONE would speak to a customer the way I was spoken to!

We recently purchased a King bedroom suite from Ross Furniture and have been extremely pleased with it. After having a set from Miskelly that was disappointing from the beginning it was nice to see a store with a selection that was made with REAL wood and not the fake cheap material that falls apart. The set we purchased is not only gorgeous, the quality is fantastic.

Each piece is so heavy and sturdy. Scott assisted us in the store and he was so polite and helpful. We opted to purchase delivery and assembly as it was super affordable compared to other stores and believe me, it was WELL worth it. It also has to be said that we were very happy with the delivery men. Their names were AJ and Curtis and they were the nicest, hard working men.

They arrived at the scheduled time that was given to us which is nice, punctuality is a plus. It was so hot outside yet they hauled in all of our furniture and assembled everything so quickly. They did a fantastic job. They were so polite and careful with our furniture and the interior of our home. Overall our experience has been great and we will now be shopping at Ross for all of our furniture needs. They definitely offer quality furniture that lasts a lifetime.

I feel like we've found a gold mine with Ross. Their prices are fair. Their products are well procured and of high quality. They are always friendly: the sales staff is very patient and quite knowledgeable about their products; and the deliver guys are always kind and give the utmost care with your purchase. Over the past several years we've purchased a bed frame, dining table, an ottoman, and a sofa. All of which are still the best pieces in our home.

I bought a sectional couch here and I could not be happier with the service that was provided. From buying, to delivery, to setup of the couch the service was impeccable! The 2 gentleman that delivered the couch were polite, and accommodating to the things that my wife and I wanted done with the setup of our living room. When we were in the store itself picking our sofa the sales people were not pushy or trying to upsell us, it felt like the only thing they wanted was for us to be happy with the piece we picked out. When I go to buy any more furniture I will be going to Ross!

My husband and I visited Ross furniture several times before deciding to purchase our mattress from them. Though the mattress is great quality at a fair price, what we really appreciated most was the no-pressure sales atmosphere while we made an important decision. As another plus, their delivery was earlier than expected (yet still flexible to suit our needs) and the staff was courteous of our living space while setting up/removing our old mattress. I would absolutely purchase another piece of high quality furniture at Ross.

Ross Furniture is truly a unique store. I have shopped there over the years and always find them dedicated to finding the items I need. Carrie is extremely patient, as it takes me quite a while to completely make my mind up on my furniture purchases. Enough cannot be said about the uniqueness of their inventory! I cannot recommend Ross enough to anyone looking for furniture. I just moved to the area and needed to completely furnish a new 2-bedroom apartment. Over the past two months I've been in Ross probably 6-7 times, I've furnished my entire apartment, and I get comments from everyone that comes to visit how nice my furniture is ("It's not IKEA!").

Everyone at this store is so friendly - I feel like a member of the family. Nobody ever made me feel guilty about walking away from something or tried to convince me to make a purchase I didn't want. And best of all, they're very good about negotiating prices for multiple items, they helped me get 12 months free financing and they deliver everything free. You cannot go wrong with a proven, local, family-owned store with quality furniture and great people like Ross!

We love Ross Furniture and have bought both living room and bedroom sets there. Great service, great prices we will continue to shop local! No box stores for us!

We always try to buy local, but this time did not work out. We bought an expensive recliner that is defective and Ross Furniture will not return it to the manufacturer. They feel we should accept it as not perfect, but the price was not imperfect.

I ordered a custom sectional sofa from Ross and could not be happier. Being that I am an out-of-state customer, I needed a bit more help than the average Ross customer. My sales rep, Carrie, was up for the task. She sent me several fabric samples and arranged for me to speak to the local rep for the company that manufactured the sofa I was ordered.

The service, price and quality made it completely worthwhile to order from out-of-state. My husband drove to MS to pick up the sofa and was impressed by the ease of this task with the Ross staff working quickly to load the sofa knowing he had to drive several hours home with the it. We have now been enjoying the sofa for several months and could not be happier. Its a modern sofa that meets our needs given that we have two slightly crazy dogs which are allowed on our furniture;

The customer service with Ross Furniture is HORRIBLE. I purchased a mirror for 1000.00 from Ross. After deciding that the mirror didn't fit my space, I tried to return the mirror. The saleswoman said there would be a 20% restocking fee, and also said the owner was willing to work with me due to I just wanted to pick out something different. When it was time to check out, the owner turned horribly rude!

He started to scream, he didn't twist my arm to purchase anything from his store. And he knew he would cross this road with me. Mind you, the items that I was repurchasing I could have fit in my truck, however, was willing to pay another 69.00 delivery fee just so they could pick up mirror I needed to return. Also, I had no problem paying the restock fee.the sales woman stated they would work with me.

I never refused. I just asked a question regarding what his employee told me. I would not return to this store if they were giving away furniture. He does not value his customers. he feels somehow entitled but doesn't understand with customer's his business would not flourish. The owner of this business has a rude, arrogant, judgmental, discriminating attitude toward all of his customers. I
