Love stopping in here! I've been able to find such unique and high-quality gifts. Staff is always very kind and informative.

Amazingly high-quality furniture with even higher quality service. We bought a bed frame and platform bed as well as three dressers which are beautiful and well-made. We had a fluke situation where a crack developed in a dresser a year or so after purchase. They inspected it and promptly replaced it. I can't think of a better shopping experience in terms of quality and service. I am very grateful.

Mask only business. This store was recommended for alternative type furniture. I'm normally a RH style customer and was in the market for living room chairs. But I was turned away after entering. Note: the mask mandate is over.

We have been working with The Century House for over 40 years. In all cases we have been pleased with the sales and maintenance personnel who have assisted us. Recently an arm rest on a Scandinavian Recline we purchased about 9 years began to loosen. I called The Century House and they reviewed our account information scheduled their service team to visit and make the repairs the next day.

When the service team arrived they removed their shoes and both men were very amicable and quickly repaired the chair. Although we have seldom required service on any of our purchases the few time we have produced the same experience, friendly and competent repair. We are long time Century House customers and our most recent experience was exceptional-it reminded us about why we return again and again. We are beyond happy with the Fjord/Nordic sofa and chaise. Brady and John were great-they made the delivery smooth and easy. We cannot thank Kathy Martin enough for her design sense, knowledge of the product line, and ability to help us see how this furniture could enhance our space. Now that it is here, it's even better than we had imagined. Her skill, talent, and expertise resulted in very satisfied customers.

Everyone was a pleasure to work with! My furniture came in earlier than promised and the delivery people were very nice a courteous! Couldn't be more pleased!

Wanted to return a product, they wanted to charge me 40% of the value in 'restocking' fees, on top of delivery. Wow! I would not mind paying myself the delivery to send back the product, but 40% of restocking fees for an unused product. really? Better say 'no return policy'!

We were looking for a comfortable chair but knew ver little about what we needed. Connie spent as much time as we needed to explain and help us find the best fit for us. We never felt rushed, or pressured. By the time we had looked at the best possibilities for us, we were totally satisfied with the chairs we selected; they were a perfect fit but we would never have found our perfect chairs without expert sales assistance. We would come back to Century House again if we need more furniture.

We had a great experience with Kathy at Century House. She took a lot of time with us, deciding on our purchases. Her warm and friendly personality was refreshing, both during and after the sale. We will look for her help again, in any future purchases. While it was hard to wait several months for our Stressless and Fjords chairs to be specially made to order, it was well worth the wait! They are both just beautiful and comfy beyond expectation

The Century House is a special place for me since I was a child. My parents' furniture came from this store. I inherited many pieces but this was my first purchase. I bought a cherry table made in Vermont that's just perfect. Love the color, style and finish - and the size is perfect for my kitchen. I found chairs that I loved from Denmark and they were custom made with white leather and teak structure.

They are perfect, as well. Such quality and so comfortable. I live in Sussex, Wisconsin, and the pieces were delivered and set up without a scratch! What more could you ask for! I'm so excited to have more Century House additions to our home! Thank you for still being incredible after all these years.

I worked with Kathy Martin at Century House in Madison. She was extremely helpful and ordered an InCanto Sectional for our new home. We received the sectional, it was delivered on time by wonderful workers and it is exactly what I ordered. Beautiful.

I love Century House and Kathy Martin was amazing. Shopping during a pandemic is not easy, however, Kathy was so helpful. I provided pictures and a floor plan of our house. From that, Kathy pulled 25-30 swatches and then helped us to choose the perfect color for the sofa. We also purchased a table and chairs, side table and a TV console. Kathy coordinated everything so now we have a cohesive and cosy home. Thank you, Kathy. And thank you to the delivery people who did an outstanding job.

Century House always has the coolest and highest quality furniture. I'm always looking for something different and unique to get a "wow" from my guests. Kathy designed my office from start to finish and also a lot of my home furniture. It was a pleasure working with her and their team including the owner. Covid presented some manufacturing and delivery challenges but all were handled in stride. Excellent service.

I bought a HAG Capisco chair here. I had a ton of back pain, so I set up an appointment to finally splurge on a nice office chair. The sales rep took the time to walk me through their selection showing me all the features and listening to what I liked and didn't like. Eventually they placed me in the Capisco after some of the feedback I gave, and it was the perfect fit.

I've had this chair at home for one day now, and I couldn't be more happy. It improved my posture substantially. Couldn't recommend the people here more. When I picked up my chair, they even loaded it into my car for me. It's expensive furniture, but you absolutely get what you pay for, and the service is great too. I'll be back for my next home office purchase. Thanks guys!

Poor customer service. Woman on telephone was inconvenienced by my question about an artist whose work I've purchased from Century House, so she hung up on me. Mistake.

Gorgeous furniture, second to none. So original and like nothing else you can get in Madison. Not only is the furniture amazing it lasts forever. Also the best customer service. Love Century House for everything from gifts to couches.

I'm very short, and I needed an office chair that would fit me properly. The Century House had just what I needed. The service was outstanding. I'm sitting in my new chair right now, very happy. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I ordered from them online and they were really nice and super helpful! The item I wanted was a gift for a friend and it needed to arrive in time (duh) for the occasion. They checked with their supplier for me and when it turned out the supplier didn't have it in stock and would need to order it, they offered to sell me their own floor model so I could get it in time. They sent me pictures to make sure the condition was acceptable and even gave me a discount! Great customer service and I'm so happy I found them!

Are you a retired professor living on the near west side of Madison? Or maybe someone that just likes to spend 50% of their income on ottomans? Century House is for you. Stylish Swedish furniture that costs a pretty penny. Think of a IKEA several magnitudes more expensive and minus the particle board.
