I did not purchase any furniture from them due to there lack of customer service. I am fully aware that most places are short staffed and have low inventory, however, they didn't try to get a sell from us. They just gave us brochures and pretty much sent us on our way. We definitely weren't welcomed there. I don't want to make an assumption but I'm guessing we didn't look like the people they wanted to service.

VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE, UNNECESSARY HASSLE! My biggest regret now is not reading the previous bad reviews stating to NOT do business with Italmoda. From the day I ordered it took about 13 months to receive all of my furniture, with issues in between. The owner does not return phone calls, most times no one picked up at the store either. Completely unexpected, disreputable, and unethical from what is considered a high end store.
During the 13 month process I have sent messages consistently asking about my furniture, no clear response if I even get a response. At one point I sent a message to owner stating I will dispute the credit card charge, still no response. If you do not want to feel cheated and robbed, do not do business with Italmoda. Her employee completely disrespectful as well. VERY DISAPPOINTED!

A friend of ours hired an interior decorator for a new home they built across the bay from us. Two reading lamps were purchased along with other items from Ligne Roset, which were beautiful by the way. Unfortunately one of the lamps was knocked over and globe was broken. In our search to replace it, we found out that it was a unique item and limited number were made and couldn't be replaced.
I do love their merchandise because it's not something you see everywhere. We called Ligne Roset and we were helped by Peter who searched their warehouse to find similar globes to match the remaining one of the pair. I can't say enough about his dedication to customer needs. It turns out that one of the two globes he sent us matched and looks great!
Not many people would go to the trouble to help on that level. It took communication back and forth to have them locate something compatible and have shipped so quickly. I can't say enough about Peter's dedication to Ligne Roset and it's customers. I will definitely share my experience and highly recommend! Five stars for Peter!

Bill and Nida helped with the interior design of my dental office, and the result was perfect. From furniture, to art work, to custom blinds, to custom cabinets and countertops, they have built a team of professionals that can do it all. Wonderful customer service and beautiful furniture! My entire house is furnished by Italmoda and everyone compliments me on it. The owners helped me decorate and remodel my house as well. Recently purchased an AMAZING Table. The quality is Awesome and unmatched with Great Customer Service. Italmoda has very great Hospitality, Bill and Marsela make it a very enjoyable experience to do business with. The pieces are one of a kind and are truly Italian from Italy, so with patience the wait is well worth it! Will do business again.

I wrote a terrible review about this store because I had problems with the table I had bought and Bill would not call back. All of that is true but I never gave Sharon a chance to fix this problem. Well fix it she did. I actually never went into the store, I only kept calling. I have very bad eyes and drive as little as possible. On this day however, I had no choice and had to go to a doctor that was close to the store so I went in and spoke to Sharon.
She was WONDERFUL! Within 3 days I had a brand new table. It was a different style made out of different materials that won't chip. Sharon did everything to make this right. So I must edit my bad review and tell everyone how great Sharon was and all is well.

I love Ligne Roset and the Staff. I have shopped at Ligne Roset for the last 20 years. The furniture is exquisite, comfortable, and durable. Nida and Andy continue to give me the utmost attention and assistance when I visit the store or make an inquiry by telephone. If I have a question about any item in the store or catalogue, they will give you an honest and accurate answer. This is why I continue to buy my furniture at Lignet Roset.

I do not enjoy writing bad reviews. However, if this can help someone else to not experience what I experienced, then I need to share. I gave two stars because we did receive some products which were in good condition. We purchased a couch which we were told to be 100% genuine leather from Italmoda. It was specifically requested that we were only looking for the highest quality genuine leather.
After only a few years of use, this "genuine leather" began to peel and flake off. It was to our disgust to find that this was definitely bonded leather. And just to note, I am in school full time and am not home very often. Also I put this couch as a statement piece and used it very little. My few years of using it was probably equal to 4-6 months of regular use.
When contacting Italmoda to help correct this issue, their availability was close to none. I sent my first concern notice in early Jan 2015. It took them months to get back to me. After I heard from them, it was multiple email threads which usually ended with something along the line of how they will get back to me with an update but they had no information yet.
They never got back to me. Almost all email threads begin with me reaching out to them. Very unprofessional. Finally they told me that they can't help me because I'm out of warranty. However, the warranty wasn't the issue I was having. I was trying to right the wrong of being sold something which I was told was 100% genuine leather but was actually bonded leather. I ended up contacting the coach manufacturer on my own. Italmoda was no help and my experience was extremely disappointing.

We had to replace all the furniture in our home due to a fire and are working with several stores in the area. Bill and his staff at Italmoda went out of their way to be helpful to us. Sharon even came to our house to advise on lighting. Today we received delivery on our Dining Room Table, Chairs and Buffet along with another Nook Table and Chairs and a Leather Love Seat.
The delivery was very professional, unlike what we experienced with another store in the area recently. Bill even called to ask how we liked our new furniture. He has loads of books to order from as well as a very attractive show room. For this quality contemporary furniture, of which many are imported, he worked with us on the pricing and gave us a good deal. Thanks Bill, Sharon and Aimee!

My family and I have been purchasing from Italmoda for over a decade now. Bill and his staff do a great job listening to our needs, and then coming up with several options that are in line with what we're looking for (as far as style and price). Their prices are very reasonable, though keep in mind most items are not in stock and need to be ordered - so count on a few weeks of transport time based on the item. Overall, Italmoda is my #1 source for modern home furnishing (indoor, outdoor) in MI.

For over four years, Italmoda has been my furniture destination of choice. In fact, more than that, it's a home away from home. From my L-shaped sofa, to master bath lighting, to Alessi wine cooler, to Phillip Stark bar bells, my home is well appointed because of Bill's unique collection and access to the fine European design that I desire. Beyond that, their original canvases by Amy are to die for. I should know, I have one. :-

Bad experience with Italmoda. Ordered a sofa early December '06 Was told It would take 6 weeks. Six weeks go by no sofa. Called store and was told it would take 2 more weeks. In two weeks still no sofa. Decide to call the manufacturer in Canada and was told that Italmoda had a "bad account" and all orders were on hold. Called Italmoda and was told it was going to take longer.
Since I really wanted the sofa I decided to wait it out to see what happens. Fast forward to March '06, I get a call from the store saying delivery would be set up for March 5 after remaining balance is paid. Paid balance on March 4 and still haven't received delivery as promised. Finally get a call from delivery guy on March 5. When they bring the sofa its the wrong color and size! Angrily call back to the store.
They have no sympathy and act as if they can't understand why I.m upset! They lied about the delivery time, didn't bother to call and update me on the matter, acted suprised that I was angry and didn't bother to try to rectify the situation. Sad. Although they have beautiful (but pricy) furniture, I will never order from them again!
