Went to city hall to vote. People were super helpful and pleasant. The hall was inexplicably cluttered with empty boxes. I had to park in back to access the Handicapped entrance and elevator to the main floor. An acceptable experience for me. the building is very old and interesting to navigate. Parking's a toughie in the middle of the day. Yet, no worries, no complaints.

Here is a wonderful idea, due to the dangers of the intersection at west Emerson and Vinton st in Melrose, second busiest intersection in Melrose a well known fact!combined with students crossing through and most people would think safety first, apparently not a priority for the city! Instead of a two way stop, what about a four way stop, the effectiveness of having a traffic supervisor there is like having an extra tree!more drivers just ignore it! That's the comparison someone from city hall should go there and stay for more than ten minutes I pay taxes too!

I came here for a local drink and food festival (Melrose Beer & Bites), and this hall was certainly a great venue for the event. There's a lot more parking behind the hall than you might initially believe. The space is well laid out and easily repurposed for whatever your function. The bathrooms on the lowest level were large and clean (that's important for a beer fest, y'know). I'm not sure how many of the people working at the fest were part of the fest crew or employees working here, but whatever the mix, they worked well as a team.

What a beautiful hall! I came to see the Melrose Symphony perform here and it was my first time visiting. The space is really nice and as you are in the main hall you can't help but wish building were still built like this today. Although if they were, maybe we wouldn't have such admiration! It seems like a very flexible space that could host lots of different events, dances, and conferences. It seems too grand to be located in a small suburb. Melrose is lucky to have it!
