I needed real wood cabinets at 32" ADA accessible height for our office. Highlands Designs is literally the only place on the planet that will build an order on-line, instantly quote the price, and offer a quality product and a reasonable cost. I found no such capability at any major cabinet supplier. I was so happy to find them, but I needed them fast. As soon as I placed the order, the service went from automated to personal. I communicated quickly by email to a real person ready to hear my needs and make things happen. They more than met my deadline at no additional cost and communicated with me about the schedule throughout the production period and shipping. I couldn't ask for better customer service. I will use them again for sure.

We had a great experience using Highland Designs to purchase all new kitchen cabinets. When we remodeled the entire main level of our house, we completely eliminated our old kitchen and created a new kitchen in a new location. I visited many showrooms to find the perfect cabinets and a designer to work with - but was very frustrated. I couldn't find the rustic hickory wood I wanted, in the right stain color to match the palomino granite we wanted, with solid construction, and at the right price. I was also frustrated with the designers, who wanted to quickly create a design and make a sale. David had the perfect cabinets at a competitive price and was far more responsive than other designers that I met. He responded to emails quickly and priced every option and layout that I wanted to consider. He also kept up the excellent customer service for months while I played around with different kitchen layout options. Working with David was much more time efficient for me than using other designers - who only seemed willing to price an option if I made an appointment on their schedule and sat there while they played with their software or looked up pricing to produce the quote. David's cabinet choices are great and his customer service is second to none.

I spent a great deal of time researching cabinet makers for a project within my new home. The quality and design capability of Arthur Brown cabinets located in New York State stood out to me. After making the decision to go with A.W. Brown, I needed to find a reputable distributor for their product.

Again after much research, I contacted David Thalheimer from Highlands Designs and started the design process. David was very helpful, providing sound input to insure my project was a success. Correspondence with David was quick and extremely effective. When our design was completed, David's pricing was very competitive (lowest I found) and after my approval he immediately submitted the design to A.W. Brown for production.

During the production process, David kept me informed along the way as to progress and when I could expect the shipment to arrive in Florida.

The packaging of my order was phenomenal. All of the components arrived in perfect condition (6 bookcases, 1 console and 1 bookcase bridge) and installation was flawless.

I will definitely contact Highlands Designs for my next project.

I wanted custom built-in bookcases / media cabinet for my living room wall. I was able to do all correspondence via email (my preferred method). The finished product was built exactly to my specifications and fits the space perfectly. I would not hesitate to order from Highlands Designs again.

One star only because a rating of no stars is not permitted. Poor customer service, incomprehensible website, and no attention to detail. After waiting six weeks for my bookcase, I was sent the wrong one. I foolishly assumed they would want it back, so they could send it to the *intended* recipient, but they hid behind their shipping policy. I had signed for it, so it was mine.

On the positive side, it was so securely packed that I could not see *what* item was inside when I picked it up at the freight depot, but there was certainly no damage to the exterior of the packaging. So, in the end, I paid over $700 for an item I had to take to the city dump. Look elsewhere.
