I bought an office chair for myself from OFW a week ago, although the chair is of decent quality, the company seems to employ the classic "bait and switch" sales tactic. I called ahead of time to check if they have inventory of used Herman Miller chairs, a lady answered the call and told me they do indeed have stock and said the price was $300. I went down to the store that same day and they said they "ran out". Just giving anyone out there a heads up in case they try the same trick.

My professional office furniture purchasing and delivery/installation experience with them was so seamless and affordable a few years ago, that I went back to have them help me build out my home office. Our condominium Board of Managers recently renovated our out-dated meeting room. Walking into Office Furniture Warehouse is like coming home for an office geek like me. The selection is phenomenal, the service is spot on, and the prices are well within the reasonable range considering the level of customizing available for the pieces. Steve was a skilled guide. I call him a guide instead of a salesman because the products sell themselves.
But his knowledgeable scope and keen design eye made the purchasing experience an enjoyable one. Delivery was prompt and courteous and I couldn't be happier with my new pieces for my office rooms. This is THE place to buy office furniture. There's simply no place to compare with it anywhere on Long Island, certainly not a Staples, Office Max or IKEA. I needed to buy a single task chair for my home office, but I was treated with the care and service as if I were a corporate customer. The showroom is terrific (so many options) and runs the gamut from simple to high-end.
I never felt rushed or hassled as I tried out chairs--and I tried out a LOT of them. The particular task chair I settled on offered a gazillion options, and Steve who took care of me was so patient as I went through them to make the choices that worked best for me, right down to colors and fabrics. Finally, the price he was able to give me was well below the list price.
Other things to know: location is very convenient, right off the LIE, and plenty of parking in front and back. Don't be dissuaded by the plain brick-and-mortar exterior of the building in which the showroom is located; once you step inside, you'll be delighted with the quality of what you see. The range of furniture and custom options is astounding, and you couldn't find a nicer or more knowledgeable staff anywhere. Don't think twice--this is where you want to purchase your office or home office furniture.

If you need furniture don't miss this place! It doesn't matter if you need one desk and task chair for your home office or if you're responsible for buying 100+ executive offices/administrative workstations. Their showroom is beautiful and when you enter you will be greeted by friendly staff. They aren't pushy, but they are educated to guide you in the right direction and will work with you and your budget.
There is a variety of price points from very affordable to high-end executive furniture lines. They make the process so easy, providing written quotes, drawings, etc. They'll even come to YOUR location to measure. When the furniture is ready, their own crew delivers, installs and cleans up the mess. It's such a great stress-free process. I'd give it six stars!
