First visit to Ducky's today and I was impressed with the selection and value along with the friendliness of all the associates there. Thu was helpful in answering all of our questions and Michael made it a breeze to load things up! Michael was gracious and patient as we tried to Tetris items into our car and did not make us feel rushed as he helped us make fewer trips to get things back home. We wish we came here earlier and will definitely be back again.

Came here to outfit myself for a new permanent work from home job. Got what I needed for a nice interchangeable raised/seated desk, mounted arm for my extra monitor, and a couple other small things like a filing cabinet and laptop stand. Love the concept of 2nd use office furniture, definitely was a great deal for the price on some lightly used stuff. Michael was awesome, helped me find what I needed, colors I needed, made the whole process smooth. Picture is my still in-progress setup.

Couldn't be happier with my experience at Ducky's today! Having just moved to Seattle, it's been a hectic week and getting everything ready to get back to work has been a top priority. I bought a desk from them at the last minute when an earlier purchase fell through. I misread the pickup instructions and my mother and I walked in to pick up rather than scheduling.
The team told me that I'd either have to wait several business days for my original order, or we could alter the order for what was on hand so I could take a desk home today. We viewed the stock and found a larger version of the exact same desk I had purchased. They allowed me to take the larger desk top and even price matched to my original order.
They helped me load everything up and were incredibly kind and accommodating. Everyone we spoke to and worked with was great and I appreciate their help and accomodation so much. I'd give 10 stars if I could.

I am at my wits end with this furniture store. I purchased a sit stand desk with intentions of it being set up a weeks ago, with my desk top computer all ready to go. The legs and mechanisms arrived fine, but when it came to the desk top, they barely even reinforced it with a few pieces of cardboard at the edges, and one thin cardboard box. C'mon guys!
It doesn't take a genius to see that a piece of laminate wood will get damaged shipping it across states. It came with two corners smashed in. I was definitely not accepting, and they shipped me another one which arrived today. It arrived with dime sized hole in the panel you can literally push the laminate into. Also had scratches all accross the panel.
Now I cannot work as efficiently as I have a bad back and have to use my desktop on the floor for long periods of time until I get what I paid for. I really wish they put in more effort into packaging it so that even when the fedex guys are being rough with it, which they most definitely do, it still has a chance of arriving in perfect condition. I am going to ask one more time for them to send it with proper packaging protection, and if it arrives damaged, I am returning it.
I have been extremely patient about this situation as this entire ordeal took an entire month. No one has this much time to waste! We have to feed our families. One simple thing could have alleviated this entire issue. Reinforce the packages better. I gave two stars because they have been nice and pleasant about it, but save us all some time and your company some money. Protect the furniture you ship out better.

Jennifer M is FANTASTIC! Not only is she knowledgeable and helpful, but she's super educated about all of the different product lines that Ducky's offers. She's always quick to respond to emails and she makes you feel like you're the most important person she's working with. Ducky's office furniture is a great place to go if you need office furniture cheap. My twenty-year-old office chair broke and I needed a replacement soon I went to Ducky's looked around and found a great replacement. They have new and used office furniture and can order just about anything that's available on the market. They sell retail and to businesses.

I'm very disappointed in duckys customer service. I ordered a desk from them. I unbound it and there were defects in the construction. Screw threads were missing in holes that were designated for more screws. I call duckys up and they told me I had to come down to their facility to get it checked out. upon arriving at the facility they gave me a replacement.
The replacement also had a flaw. The desk did not move up and down as advertised. Its been two weeks since I spoke to them to try and get a new part and no response. They have made what I thought would have been a very simple process (buying a desk) into something very complicated. Update 12/5/2016: Ducky's did send somebody to fix my faulty desk shortly after I wrote this review. In consideration of that gesture I upgraded the review from a 2 to a 3.

Worst service imaginable. Unresponsive sales people, delivery snafus, missing desk pieces, and lack of interest in helping the customer. Called 10 days ago to order another desk and spoke to sales rep Alex Coffaro who said she'd call me back with pricing and availability. No word from her despite several email requests asking for the information. Going elsewhere.

I'll start by saying that I can only conclude that the floor sales staff do not work on commission. The last 3 times I've walked into the store in the last month, I've had to initiate with the staff for them to acknowledge me. They are friendly enough if you basically demand their attention. We ordered a couple of desks and other items and even by email, it required multiple inquiries and follow ups in order to get any kind of response.
That being said they have been accommodating with the several changes that we have made on our order. Their installation crew was great and even helped moved a tremendously heavy file cabinet for us. Totally not their job.we really appreciated it. In the end, we are please with the product. We have the last of our order delivering and installing in 1 month.
We will see how that goes. basically, if you want to buy something from Ducky's, you better really want it and be prepared to spend a lot of time following up and waiting for them get back to you!

Ducky's has a decent selection for new and used office furniture, but their customer service leaves a lot to be desired and will prevent me from using them again. I purchased a new desk and keyboard tray from them at list price and had to email and call several times to actually get measurements and then complete the transaction, which should have been a sign that I should have purchased elsewhere.sigh.
This included one phone call when an employee refused to take my order or card information because the salesperson I was working with was out of the office that day. Even after I did get my order in, it took two emails and a phone call to get a receipt and order confirmation. My order was set to arrive in 4-6 weeks, and so around 4 weeks I called to check on status and was told it would arrive the week following, and that they would call.
By end of that week I hadn't heard anything and called, apparently now it would arrive the following week on Tuesday but they would still call me when it actually arrived. Tuesday comes and goes, I called on Wednesday and the woman working would check and call me back (this was in the morning), at 4:30pm she called me back to say yes it had been there for two days and I could pick it up during their business hours, which meant there was basically no time to get it that day.
Finally today (Saturday) my husband and I drove down to pick it up, walked in and there was just one guy working at the time and he was with a customer - no acknowledgment that we had walked in and were standing waiting 10 feet away for him. Seriously all he needed to do was just make eye contact and say "hi, I'll be with you in just a couple minutes".
It was a super awkward couple of minutes before he acknowledged us like we were being rude for waiting. At any rate, I'm still trying to find an office chair but I will literally go everywhere else in the greater Seattle area before I go back to Ducky's and I feel confident there are other office furniture stores that will work harder to get new business. Edit: the owner reached out to me post-review to apologize, which I really appreciate.

Jennifer, Anais, Robert, and Josh all helped as needed whenever I called or stopped by. The delivery crew was right on time and in minutes installed my furniture. I went to Ducky's today in a rush to buy a new office chair for my drafting table. I got there and no one got up to say "hello" or even show an interest? I finally had to ask someone how the place works and where to go to look for chairs. I asked a guy if they had any drafting table chairs and he said he didn't think so. At the time we were both in a room with a sea of chairs of all shapes, sizes and colors.
I just kept looking and found one. The price tag almost made me fall over, but I sit a lot and I need a good chair! I wheeled the chair into the main room and sat in it waiting for someone to acknowledge me. One lady was talking to another lady about some social topic and another lady was busy at her computer and then there was a guy in an office room doing his thing.
I finally went to the front and got someone's attention and she pointed me back to the lady having a social conversation. The lady at her desk wouldn't negotiate the price of the chair. I was in urgent need for this chair, so I didn't walk away from the deal. Then she asked me to take the tag off! I gave the lady my credit card and then helped myself out of the store.
I have to say that this was probably the worst environment I have been in walking into a store when I was ready to buy something in quite some time! If I wasn't in such a need for a chair, I would have walked back out! The good news is that I found a chair that is great for my needs!

Great customer service and good selection of new/used office furniture. Josh helped me and gave me a KILLER deal on a great office chair! Because it was so cheap, I'm going to use it as a placeholder to purchase a more expensive chair when I can afford it. Great experience and I will definitely be back to Ducky's for a more major purchase.

They have good selection of office furniture and they can also build you some, however, they are so expensive. You need to take in consideration the resale value on this furniture, you will be lucky to get 10 cents on a Dollar. They are just so expensive and I think you can do better somewhere else.

I've been going to Ducky's for years, both for my home office and when my business moved to a space downtown. They're great, and so are the products they carry. I'm surprised at the reviews about service.everyone who's helped me has really taken the time to listen, and has helped me create a custom solution for my needs and budget. Recommendations have been a mix-and-match of new (chairs, conference table), used (whiteboard, etc), refurbished (custom-painted used filing cabinets), and referrals to other places for pieces they didn't carry/stock. I couldn't be happier with them. If you're in the market any type of office furniture, definitely give them a shot.

This is the best office furniture place I've ever seen! I came in looking for an office chair. Huge selection in both new and used inventory. Wide price range too. You can get a good chair for less than $100. Friendly sales person, no pushy or rude attitudes. Simple warehouse layout. Total thumbs up!

I was initially put off by the fact that much of what they listed on their website was not in stock (and their salesman had never heard of some of the models listed). But the staff was very helpful, didn't try to upsell me, and got me in and out of the store in 20 minutes with exactly the chair I needed.

Ducky's is a convenient office furniture store downtown which has some real bargains in their used furniture selection. I was sick of my crappy InsertTechCompany provided office chair, so I swung by Ducky's to try to find something to replace it. Much to my surprise, they had a coveted Aeron Chair lightly used for less than half of what they cost new and my ass has been happy as an ass can be ever since then.
The staff was very friendly in helping me find a good deal and even assisted me jamming it into my car (they would have delivered but I wanted that thing immediately). I will be going back here the next time I need any kind of office furniture, used or new.

If only I could give it no stars. I've never been so dissatisfied with a furniture buying experience (or any buying experience, really). Our office is moving and so we purchased (and later found out that we COMPLETELY overpaid) for 2 desks. After 2.5 weeks of the run around, we finally received the desks only to discover that one was damaged, now we're once again getting the run around on when we will receive the part. Meanwhile, we have someone trying to work with half a desk (not so easy in our business).
We learned our lesson and bought the rest of the furniture we needed online or from Action Furniture in Tukwila. Not only were the prices nearly 40% lower, we received everything the next day - even over the holidays. Just say no to Ducky's.

That's it. I've had enough of this damned office chair slowly descending while I sit in it, only to shoot back up when I stand up. And the piles of unfiled paperwork cluttering my office floor because my file cabinet is too small and too full to cram anything more into it. Or the pain in my neck from staring up at my 33 Apple flat screen because my desk was designed for smaller monitors. Ducky's here I came. Wandered around for a bit looking at the used (cheap) furniture.
Unfortunately didn't see anything that matched my current decor. However, the sales guy Zim was super helpful in describing how the modular desk systems work. They've got a sale going on for a certain brand, and basically the different components are cheap and have enough different sizes that I can customize a layout for my weirdly shaped basement office.
I also found a pretty nice chair. Zim cut me a deal on it as it was the floor model and was a little scuffed. So now, I write to you from a new office throne, comfy, and looking forward to my new desk.
